Fundraising on the Yorkshire 3 Peak Challenge!

Andrew Wood, is fundraising for the children of MVA.

As one of MVA’s supporters, Andrew is setting himself the Yorkshire 3 Peak challenge, to fundraise in support of the children in Masese, climing Pen-y-Ghent (694 metres), Whernside (736 metres) and Ingleborough (723 metres) in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, the route is 24-miles long, and includes 5,200ft (1,585m) of ascent.

In the early hours of 17th September, Andrew will be setting off to climb Pen-y-Ghent, the first of the three peaks, followed by Whernside and finishing with Ingleborough.

The lush greens of Yorkshire are a far cry from the red dust of Uganda, but the children of Masese won’t be far from Andrew’s mind as he ascends over 2000 metres to raise money for the children in MVA.
